Ruby (Oprah's Book Club 2.0)
Oprah missed the mark on this one. I wasn't crazy about the pacing and the middle dragged. At times it had some nice descriptive passages, but at other times, the story didn't seem to have any forward movement. By page 200, I didn't care how it ended; I just wanted it to be over.
